Swan's Falls Campground and Canoe Access
Swan's Fall is a popular river access location for canoeing and camping on the Saco. The park is managed by the Saco River Recreational Council under an agreement with the Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation, and Forestry. On site you will find a camp store and visitor center, day and overnight parking, and a small campground run by the SRRC. For access and parking fees please see Planning a Trip.

Have questions about exploring the river? The SRRC is here to help. In order to have a fun trip, you need to know where you're going and make sure you are putting safety first, following local laws and regulations, and respecting the river environment. Stop by our visitor center to browse our collection of resources or discuss your trip with our staff. We also sell maps, life jackets, and other camping essentials. Fire permits are free, although we always accept donations which are put towards our river cleanup efforts!

Swan's Falls Campground - Call for Reservations
An 18 site rustic campground with access to the Saco. Make us your home base for canoeing and tubing the river, or spend the night while visiting the area. We are in the middle of the town of Fryeburg and a 15 minute drive from North Conway, NH.
Please call 207-935-3395 for reservations. Make arrangement with our staff for late arrival.
Amenities include outhouse, fire rings, water spigots, and picnic tables. Sites 11 and 20 each have a lean-to.
Firewood, ice, and other camping essentials can be purchased in the camp store.

FIREWOOD ALERT: Out-of-state firewood is banned from the state of Maine in order to prevent the spread of invasive forest pests. Campers must obtain their firewood at this facility or from another local vendor. Outside firewood is subject to confiscation and your group may lose its security deposit.
