Saco River Recreational Council

Expect early season conditions which include water temperatures around 60 degrees.  There are some hazards/obstacles in the river including strainers, (fallen trees) especially below Walker's Bridge. Paddlers should have some experience to steer away from potential hazards and avoid capsizing.
